About

For more than twenty-five years, Heather has partnered with families and educators in some of Southern California's most respected independent schools, helping children from preschool through eighth grade develop the academic, executive functioning, and life skills that lead to lasting success.

Heather holds a Master's Degree in Education and has completed advanced graduate coursework through Columbia University. She has received specialized training in executive functioning from nationally recognized experts Dr. Lynn Meltzer and Dr. Peg Dawson, whose research has shaped best practices for developing organization, planning, self-regulation, and independent learning. She is also a Certified Life Coach, bringing a unique perspective that blends educational expertise with practical coaching strategies that create meaningful, sustainable change for both children and parents.

Throughout her career, Heather has served in multiple leadership roles beyond the classroom, including Director of Admissions and as a member of accreditation teams for both the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS). She was honored with the Teacher Recognition Award from the Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth (CTY), recognizing her exceptional impact on students and commitment to educational excellence, and was also nominated for Disney's American Teacher Awards, recognizing educators who inspire excellence both inside and outside the classroom. These experiences have provided her with a comprehensive understanding of child development, school culture, educational excellence, and what allows students to thrive in highly successful learning environments.

Today, Heather combines decades of classroom experience, educational leadership, executive functioning expertise, and coaching to equip parents with practical, research-informed strategies that build organized, resilient, independent children. Her philosophy is simple: when parents are given the right tools, they become their child's greatest advantage.
