ABOUT HEATHER
For more than twenty-five years, Heather has worked alongside children, parents, and educators to help students become more confident, capable, and independent learners.
Her career has spanned some of Southern California’s most respected independent schools, where she has supported children from preschool through eighth grade and developed a deep understanding of the skills that help children thrive both in and out of the classroom.
Heather holds a Master’s Degree in Education and has completed advanced graduate coursework through Columbia University. She has also received specialized training from nationally recognized experts Dr. Lynn Meltzer and Dr. Peg Dawson, whose work focuses on organization, planning, self-regulation, and independent learning. As a Certified Life Coach, Heather brings a practical, solution-focused approach to her work with families.
Throughout her career, Heather has served in leadership roles including Director of Admissions and on accreditation teams for both WASC and NAIS. She was honored with the Teacher Recognition Award from the Johns Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth and was nominated for Disney’s American Teacher Awards.
Today, Heather helps parents identify what is getting in the way and develop practical, individualized strategies that help children make meaningful progress. Her approach is supportive, realistic, and grounded in the belief that with the right tools and consistent support, children can build greater confidence, independence, and resilience.
Her philosophy is simple: when parents are equipped with the right tools, they become their child’s greatest advantage.
